How it Works
Using impossible spaces, redirected walking and procedural level generation to adapt to each player’s available space, traVRsal delivers unique exciting experiences that allow true natural walking. Changing the world around the player without them noticing tricks the brain into believing that indeed the play space is much bigger than it really is.

I've played plenty of VR in the last few years and this was right up there with the best experiences I've had. Literally walking around is such a game changer and drastically improves immersion for me.

Amazing! I've never seen anything like this before in VR. This is a must have! This is one of those experiences where we need to show it to all of our friends.
Gord Brown (on SideQuest)
One of the most impressive examples of the power and depth of VR technology that I have seen to date. So immersive it makes you believe and truly experience a medium sized basement as being and endless maze of danger and wonder. Kudos to the development team of this app, and I lok forward to where they go from here. I would easily recommend this to anyone looking to experiencve to true magic of what VR can do.

Incredibly creative! It's such a cool way to utilize your playspace and hopefully more experiences are added because this is the coolest thing ever

This will blow your mind. Incredible immersion and the ability to build your own 'impossible' spaces. I'm a huge fan of the art gallery concept. Keep up the good work!

It is one of if not the best games i have played on sidequest

What you have done is to create a great “content delivery” mechanism for VR walking experiences. Currently it has 3 “contents”. I am looking forward to your opening it up so that a lot more can be created!

This is the first review I ever leave in sidequest. But this app is spectacular.

No virtual gallery really delivered what i wanted... But then TraVRsal appeared and all you had to do was drop the images in a custom folder.
FAQ
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions and answers.
As of now the core of traVRsal is being developed by me, Robert Wetzold, a single indie developer. There is a great community though contributing many ideas and testing early releases as well as creating amazing community worlds.
There are several worlds under construction by myself and multiple community worlds being worked on. Also, existing worlds receive content updates quite regularly.
Curiosity and great ideas! On the technical side, familarity with Unity, as there is a Unity SDK.
Yes! Besides playing solo, there is multiplayer for playing together with friends at the same time and also async multiplayer, to play against the recorded runs of others (seeing their ghosts). Beating these will grant points on the global leaderboard.
As of now Meta Quest is the only officially supported device.
There is an experimental stick-movement mode available allowing you to play standing or seated. You will miss out on a huge chunk of what makes this game special and immersive though.
